Who this covers
This policy covers the private publishing tooling used to operate the YouTube channel The Hostile Earth, operated by NULLLOGIC s.r.o. The tooling is a single-operator application. It has no public sign-up, no user accounts, and no users other than the channel owner.
What data is accessed
The application authenticates with Google using OAuth 2.0 and requests these scopes:
youtube.upload— upload video files to the owned channel.youtube.force-ssl— set titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists, captions and publishing schedules on the owned channel.youtube.readonly— read the owned channel's own video list and metadata.yt-analytics.readonly— read the owned channel's own performance statistics, such as views, watch time and audience retention.
All access is limited to the single channel that authorised it. The application does not read, collect or process data belonging to any other channel, viewer or third party. It does not access viewer identities, comments of other users' channels, or any personal data of the channel's audience beyond the aggregated, anonymised statistics YouTube itself reports to the channel owner.
How data is stored
The OAuth refresh token is stored on a private server controlled by the operator, in a file readable only by the operating system account that runs the tooling. Channel metadata and aggregated analytics are stored on that same server for production planning.
How data is shared
Nothing is shared. No data obtained through the Google APIs is sold, transferred or disclosed to any third party. The data is not used for advertising, profiling, or training machine learning models.
Retention and deletion
Stored analytics are kept only as long as they are useful for planning the channel. Authorisation can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately and permanently ends the application's access. On request to the contact address below, stored data will be deleted.
